Hey, I’m Dana! I am the Director of Operations at TGT. In short, I am the scheduling and logistics guru coordinating TGT’s attendance at multiple vendor events across the country each year. I also manage social media and in general, keep things running smoothly. I also enjoy strategic business planning with my husband for both TGT and Khaos Apparel. There is so much that I love about my job. Getting to work with my husband each day and watch our business and family grow is the biggest blessing in my life. Our goal for our business has always been to not only create a successful business to support our own family, but to create a place where people enjoy coming to work, are well taken care of and can provide a good life for their own families. I am very proud that over the past few years we have been able to offer health insurance, paid holidays, PTO, 401k with match and even a clothing allowance. I really enjoy my role because I get to help support our team each day. I hope they know I am always their biggest cheerleader. I love helping and watching them succeed!
I am a Wichita State Nursing School Graduate (Magna Cum Laude and President of my class) and was blessed to work at the Via Christi Burn Center with the most incredible people for 8 years. It may seem odd, but I actually take a lot of what I learned in nursing and use it to benefit my current role! As it turns out, coordinating a 50 nursing schedules was good practice for coordinating shows!
In my free time I enjoy traveling domestically with our family (because despite flying regularly I still hate it), planning my next snack, reading, camping, and plants. I am a wife to Justin and mother to two amazing children, Gunner (12) and Jetlyn (8.) Gunner is an amazing competitive gymnast, ball player and my right hand man when his daddy is on the road. When he has free time he enjoys fishing every chance he gets and watching The Office. Jetlyn loves to cheerlead, swim, be outdoors and play jokes any chance she gets.
I believe my greatest strength is my ability to pivot, adapt and overcome. Owning a business and being an ICU RN during a pandemic wasn’t for the faint of heart. Without a doubt the most important thing in the world to me is my family. Despite many challenges, we built a life we loved and couldn’t be prouder.
We stay pretty busy but on Mondays we enjoy a casual date night at
Applebee’s! :)
Our son, Gunner, doing what he loves the most! He trains 15-20 hours/week!
Jetlyn is always proud when she out fishes us all! We are looking forward to taking her deep sea fishing this summer in Florida!
A rare pic of us all looking at the camera! We loved visiting NASA in Houston!
